Charcoal 24"x18"
I have completed a new charcoal drawing. The title is "Home Front". I have had this idea rumbling around in my head for a good while now and it has been fun looking for the particular items that I wanted to include in the work. The drawing is about those who were left behind, as loved ones went off to war to defend our county. The setting is WWII 1944. The cards attached to the mirror represent about a year and a half. Look carefully and you can see a photo of her hero and his letters tied lovingly with a ribbon on the dresser. I will have poster prints and note cards of this drawing available in the near future. The poster prints (12"x16") will sell for $15.00 and the note cards will be $2.00 ea. We also have note cards available in an 8 card set with a variety of designs for $12.00 each.
